Receiving|  | Receiving ||  | United States ||  | Michigan ||  | Three Rivers ||  | We are looking for a responsible Receiving Clerk to receive, inspect, and record shipments with raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages with a forklift and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.  A receiving clerk must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills.

They must also have adequate physical strength to unload shipments as well as basic clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers. This position reports to the Quality Engineer. ||  |
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Planning staff  
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt  
• Unload packages from incoming trucks  
• Inspect contents to Engineering specification  
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)  
• Assume responsibility for documenting rejected goods  
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place  
• Ensure packing lists are signed  
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control ||  |
• Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position  
• Experience in operating forklifts  
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data  
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations  
• Basic math and recording abilities  
• Excellent organizational skills  
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities  
• Keen eye for detail  
• Must have forklift experience. ||  | High School or equivalent ||  |  ||  |

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear  English.  
• This position is very active and may require the following standing, walking, bending, kneeling,  stooping, crouching, crawling, or climbing at various time during their shift.  
• Ability to lift 5-10 consistently (occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. would be necessary).  
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs multiple times.  
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,  peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. |
