Our growing company is seeking to hire 1st & 2nd Shift Production Operators
. We have competitive wages starting at $16.50/hour with a training increase and paid time off after 90 days, sign-on bonuses up to $1,000, and medical/dental/vision benefits starting after 30 days. As an employee/owner at MEC, you will set‑up, adjust and operate several production machine tools where tooling, set‑up detail and operating procedures are standardized and obvious—or operate and maintain setups on special purpose machines where operations may involve several progressive machining sequences.
- Work from assembly drawings and specifications.
- Select and align dies in press according to specifications.
- Position workpiece against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.
- Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
- Regulate air pressure and oil pressure.
- Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjust machine to correct errors.
- Package parts in appropriate containers.
- Clean and lubricate machines.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
- Work with tooling department on new tooling and troubleshoot issues with existing tooling.
- Inspect production parts and perform buddy checks of other operators.
- Troubleshoot machines and operations to better improve overall margins of products.

- Three plus months of related experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrated detail‑orientation, self‑motivation skills, and ability to multi‑task.
- Leads by example and promotes and supports safety and other management objectives.
- Regular 1st Shift full‑time hours Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Regular 2nd Shift full‑time hours Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM.
- $1.50/hr 2nd shift premium.
- Overtime on Fridays and Saturdays (as needed).
