Mixer at Litehouse Foods

Location: Lowell, MI

Shift: 5am-5:30pm rotating 22/3 basis

As a Mixer at Litehouse you are essential to the performance of all mix systems including spice, prep, and testing.

Litehouse started in the Hope, Idaho restaurant of the Hawkins family 60 years ago. Since that time, we have become the leader in refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese, manufacturing these delicious products at our four U.S. facilities based in Michigan, Utah, Virginia, and Idaho. Litehouse offers its diverse portfolio of products through general retail, e‑commerce, food service, deli, member stores, and value‑added goods where Litehouse products are featured in meal and salad kits.

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce high‑value, detailed recipes
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided!)
• Change over and wash out machinery between batches while following strict allergen protocols
• Keep your workspace and the production area clean and organized
• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO (first in, first out) practices
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain accurate and timely production records
• Adhere to all food safety policies and promptly report any concerns to your supervisor
• Work flexible hours as needed, including frequent overtime and weekends

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 0–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting
• Ability to operate or learn computer‑based batch automation technology
  
  Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
• Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs. regularly
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi‑task and stay focused in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and team‑minded attitude
