Quality Inspector​/Sorting Inspector @Stevensville, MI

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional sorting and inspection of aluminum knuckles and control arms.
• Focus on identifying surface and machining defects, deep ejector pin marks, and imperfections under black light.
• Must ensure accurate segregation of defective and acceptable parts per client standards.

• 1–3 years minimum experience in quality inspection or visual sorting (automotive or metal manufacturing preferred).
• Proficiency in visual and dimensional inspection of machined aluminum and metal parts.
• Skilled in identifying defects such as ejector pin marks, cracks, burrs, porosity, and surface irregularities.
• Familiarity with black light (UV) inspection tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Experience in Automotive / Metal Mechanic Manufacturing.

Project Duration: Ongoing weekly sorting project (CURRENT PROJECT)

• Inspectors may be scheduled 2–4 days per week;
  Shifts will be either 8 hours or 12 hours per day;
  Weekly hours may range from 16 to 48 hours per inspector, depending on production needs and rotation schedules. (CURRENT PROJECT)
