1st Shift - Assembly & Robotic Welding

Location: Grand Rapids

Staffing Inc is partnered with a metal facility in Grandville, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified Assembly and Robotic Weld candidate who is ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembling components and products and operating robotic welding equipment. This role requires attention to detail, following work instructions, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Assembly and Robotic Weld Responsibilities:

• Assemble and Robotic Weld components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report any defects or production issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as material handling, packaging, or shipping as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Assembly and Robotic Weld Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or general labor.
• Previous experience with robotic welding is a plus but not required.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive standing, recurring bending as well as moderate to heavy lifting.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have perfect attendance and good attitude.
