Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Our client, an industrial leader, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Material Handler
Pay Rate:$15.50 an hour
Shift - 8 am to 4 pm - overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time; overtime can be heavy
- Forklift experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Directly responsible for shipping, receiving, and accounting for all produced or ordered materials
- Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring compliance with company regulations and safety policies
- Package items securely for transportation and record all pertinent shipping information
- Enter incoming and outgoing inventory information into the MRP system in a timely manner
