Setup Technician - Ludington Area

Salary Range: $41,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or setup‑related issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment as scheduled.
• Document setup parameters, production data, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Ensure all setup procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.

• 3+ years of experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills for production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., SMED, 5S).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings or 3D models.
• Certifications in specific advanced machinery (e.g., robotics, CNC programming).
