Welder - Plainwell Area

Salary Range: $40,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Grind, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.

• Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding and adherence to welding safety protocols and PPE.
• Physical dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience working with various metal types (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
• Relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).

• Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick, Flux-Cored)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints or schematics
• Fabrication and fitting experience
• Familiarity with quality control procedures or non‑destructive testing (NDT) principles
• Forklift certification or experience operating other heavy machinery
