Salary Range: $22.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Motor City Wash Works is looking for energetic and motivated Panel Builder candidates in our Northville facility. As a member of the team some of the e ssential duties and functions are as follows.

• Read assembly drawings and electrical schematics to perform the electrical assembly
• Identify electrical components such as breakers, disconnect switches, starters, relays, timers, overloads, etc.
• Completely layout all din rail and components per drawings
• Fabricate enclosure cut-outs.
• Drill and tap panel back plates. Install components.
• Wire panels point to point with various wiresizes
• Rigging and setting back plates
• Program VFD’s
• Test all panels for functionality
• Work in a healthy team environment,assists others when able and asneeded

• Electrical/technical and 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge and abilityof handtool operation; cordless drill, wrenches, screw drivers, knockout punches, hole saws, wire stripper, etc.
• Knowledge of layout and fabrication
• Overtime and weekend work are sometimes required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
