Polymer Compounding Extrusion Technician

Step Into the Role As your 2nd shift begins in Albion, MI, you gear up with PPE, review the batch ticket, and stage raw materials. You’ll weigh ingredients to exact recipe tolerances, charge the blender, dial in the extruder, and watch the run come to life. Temperatures, pressures, and rates are monitored and adjusted for safety and efficiency. You’ll pull lab samples for quality checks, document every step in the production system, and keep your area clean and organized.

If something isn’t right, you’ll troubleshoot and loop in your supervisor when it’s time to escalate. That’s a typical evening shaping polymer colorants and specialty additives that show up in cars, packaging, appliances, and everyday consumer products.

Who We Are Mural is partnering with a global specialty chemical and polymer manufacturer operating production facilities across Michigan, Massachusetts, and Ohio.
