Electrostatic Powder Coating Operations Supervisor Picture your evening starting on 2nd or 3rd shift. You gather the team, review the work orders, and set the plan for the night. You check that every technician understands their assignment and has the know‑how to do it safely and correctly. As production moves, you verify parts are finished exactly to print and that any special notes on the work order are followed to the letter.

You track progress to keep jobs on schedule, coach in the moment, and keep an eye on efficiency and scrap so monthly targets aren’t just met—they’re surpassed. Before the shift wraps, you document performance feedback and plan next steps for training.

What you’ll lead2nd and 3rd shift powder coat production activities.

On-the-job coaching so team members understand role requirements and receive proper training.

Quality checks to confirm parts meet print specs and all special instructions on the work order.

Schedule adherence so each work order is completed on time.

Continuous improvement efforts to meet or exceed monthly efficiency goals.

Waste reduction practices to meet or beat monthly scrap targets.

Safe operations in alignment with written SINTEL standards and OSHA requirements.

Regular, periodic performance reviews and feedback discussions.
