We are looking for a talented Machine Technician Co-op
who will be able to apply coursework concepts to real-world situations working alongside professional, experienced colleagues while also gaining valuable experience working for a global manufacturing and engineering company. The qualified applicant will become part of the Manufacturing Team where he/she will interact with our Engineers, Technicians, and a variety of support staff. This job offers a work-integrated learning opportunity with a flexible schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and running manual and CNC machines in the Machining department.
• Learn about shop mathematics to get the knowledge required to read and follow blueprints.
• Follow instructions to inspect parts to assure dimensional accuracy for machine adjustments.
• Count finished parts to ensure orders are complete as required.
• Follow instructions to use proper part identification.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
• All other related duties as assigned.
• Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
• Adhere and perform all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization, Can-Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability.
