Dexter, MI 48130 Contract Duration: 12+ months contract with possible extension Pay Rate: $20/hr Job Overview We are seeking entry-level Assembler I candidates to support manufacturing and production operations in Dexter, Michigan. This role involves performing a variety of assembly tasks, following established work instructions, using basic tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start their careers in manufacturing.
No prior manufacturing experience or minimum educational qualification is required.
Key Responsibilities Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly tasks according to established procedures. Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions. Prepare products and components using a variety of tools. Perform continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies. Conduct quality inspections in accordance with established specifications. Assemble, disassemble, modify, rework, and test assemblies or subassemblies as instructed.
Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related production equipment, as assigned. Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel. Record basic production data and follow standard operating procedures. Support manufacturing, packaging, processing, inventory, or distribution activities as required.
Required Qualifications No prior work experience required. No minimum educational qualification specified. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to learn assembly procedures, tools, and production equipment. Ability to perform routine tasks while following established quality and safety procedures.
