Location: Lake Michigan Beach
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Thought Leader Liaison to build strategic partnerships with academic and clinical experts in the Great Lakes region. This commercial role involves executing brand and disease-state strategies, managing speaker programs, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to support the launch of Resmetirom for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain long-term commercial relationships with regional thought leaders and emerging influencers
- Conduct market research and generate insights to inform brand strategies and regional marketing tactics
- Develop and execute comprehensive congress plans with strategic thought leader engagements
- Manage speaker logistics, training programs, and ongoing development for program effectiveness
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, medical affairs, and other departments
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or life sciences
- 10+ years experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or hospital environments
- 2+ years in thought leader liaison or similar field marketing role
- 2+ years engaging with thought leaders in hepatology, gastroenterology, or endocrinology
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
- Experience supporting specialty product launches
- Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities
