- Registered Nurse opportunity as a Nurse Manager at Chelsea Hospital managing Endoscopy and the Pain Clinic.
- The Nurse Manager serves as a member of the organization’s nursing leadership team, responsible for day‑to‑day operations, scheduling, staffing, and providing 24/7 accountability for patient care delivery, planning, and evaluation of services of one or more clinical areas.
- Provides clinical and administrative leadership for planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating safe, superior, and preeminent quality patient care.
- State of Michigan Registered Nursing license required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required; an appropriate master’s degree in nursing, business or health administration preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years clinical nursing or leadership experience at the unit level in an ICU / Critical Care area.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Participate in nursing leadership team to develop strategic plans, goals, standards of care, and operating plans.
- Collaborate with inter‑professional team on unit budgets and resource planning.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives for colleague engagement, patient experience, safety, clinical outcomes, and financial targets.
- Manage education, competencies, orientation, retention, and coaching to maintain safe, quality care.
- Ensure recruitment, development, mentoring, and succession planning for engaged nursing staff; promote shared leadership.
- Participate in evaluating and integrating healthcare technology and information systems.
- Partner with Director of Nursing and team to implement evidence‑based programs, policies, and protocols for continuous improvement.
- Communicate regularly with nursing leaders and staff on patient safety, quality, engagement, and satisfaction; develop action plans as needed.
