Villa at Traverse Point is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The CNA assists patients/residents with comprehensive and personalized health care needs under the supervision of a nurse, helping with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, toileting, and exercising.

Shift Differential: $3 for midnights

• Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor, work closely with nursing staff to coordinate patient care.
• Provide physical support for patients/residents’ daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring to/from bed, toileting, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Assist patients with daily medication and supplements.
• Ensure proper resident/patient diet based on dietary restrictions.
• Examine patients for open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine.
• Note and communicate patient/resident behavior and changes in mood.
• Clean rooms and bed linens.
• Check and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Respond to patient calls and needs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Good collaboration and teamwork skills with the nursing staff.
• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for various medical conditions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant license/certification.
• Must be CPR certified.

• Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, and the ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, with or without mechanical aids.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and over a distance of 50 feet.
• May be required to assist in evacuating residents during emergencies.
• Meet all health requirements as needed.
