Job Description:
Position: RN – Labor & Delivery / LDRP Setting:
Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum Openings: 2
Schedule:
6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
36 hours per week
Night shift
Client interview required (phone interview)
Travel Pay Package: $2,650 per week total
- Taxable Rate: $39/hour
- Housing Stipend: $770/week
- Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $476/week
Overview:
- LDRP role caring for Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Mother/Baby, and Postpartum patients
- Average of approximately 40 deliveries per month
- Care for patients 16+ weeks gestation
- Perform cervical exams, Cytotec placement, magnesium drips, and newborn/preemie care following delivery or C-section
- May float to Med-Surg to assist, but will not take a full assignment
- Work alongside a family-centered team in a community hospital environment
Additional Details:

- Equipment: GE Perinatal
- Scrub Color:
Ceil - Orientation: 1-3 shadow shifts based on experience
- Cancellation Policy:
Up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract - Providers are not always onsite overnight
- Anesthesia response time within 30 minutes
- Physician response time within 10 minutes
- No residents onsite
- Growing Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) model
- Client interview required
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/Mother-Baby strongly preferred
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Intermediate AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Ability to perform cervical exams
- Experience with magnesium drips and Cytotec administration
- Newborn and preemie care experience
- PALS, C-EFM, and OR experience preferred
