Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting. Under the direct supervision of nursing leadership, you will assist in the treatment and care of patients, adhering to established methods and procedures. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the patient and family experience through empathetic and timely care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the treatment and care of patients according to established protocols.
- Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring the needs and preferences of patients and their families are recognized and met.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Strive for superior performance by consistently delivering quality service.
This position requires 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36-hour workweek. Weekend work is required every other week, promoting flexible and reliable staffing.
Attendance PolicyPlease note that an attendance policy will be in effect starting June 1, 2024. Consistent attendance is crucial, and any LVN or LPN who is absent from a scheduled shift or arrives more than 20 minutes late three times will face immediate termination. Exceptions may be considered for medical emergencies, provided appropriate documentation is submitted.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long Term Care (LTC) settings is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Active Michigan state license at the time of submission is mandatory.
- MI LTC Fingerprinting is a plus and may enhance your application.
