Job Overview

D&E Landscaping and Grading, Inc. is seeking a skilled and driven Landscaping/Hardscape Foreman to lead and manage residential, commercial, and government job sites across the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily crew coordination, worksite management, and ensuring each project meets or exceeds quality and profitability standards. This is a full‑time, long‑term role offering leadership growth, hands‑on training, and the chance to work in a team‑focused, safety‑first environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations on active landscaping and hardscape project sites.
  • Set daily productivity goals for crew members and ensure tasks align with profitability targets (15%+ margin).
  • Lead and mentor crews in all aspects of installation, maintenance, and equipment use.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments—equipment, trucks, and sites.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and address concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate change orders and project updates with project managers and estimators.
  • Conduct initial site orientation and safety training for new hires.
  • Track timecards, work logs, job receipts, and submit accurate documentation daily.
  • Follow and enforce all company policies, safety regulations, and code of conduct.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of landscaping/hardscaping experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide a crew.
  • Proficiency operating small landscaping equipment.
  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Comfortable performing physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, safety‑oriented, team player, with a strong desire for continuous improvement.

Work Schedule

Full‑Time – Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Saturdays – 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (as needed)

Must arrive at least 5 minutes before scheduled start time.

45‑minute lunch; 30 minutes automatically deducted daily.

Work Location

Meet at our office and drive to work location with company work truck and crew.

Minimal travel; mileage reimbursement for job‑related use of personal vehicle if needed (when approved).
