Just minutes from the shores of Lake Michigan, we’re a small animal general practice known for providing efficient, compassionate, and personalized care to the pets and families we serve. Our services range from wellness and sick pet exams to soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

With in‑house lab work, digital X‑ray, and an experienced support team, we’re equipped to deliver modern care with a small‑town heart.

Our hospital is in one of Michigan’s most beloved beach towns, where locals and vacationers alike enjoy outdoor living year‑round. Whether you’re into hiking, biking, paddle boarding, or just catching a sunset over the lake, South Haven offers the perfect work‑life balance. Inside our clinic, we keep the same vibe; supportive, collaborative, and upbeat. Our 4‑day work week (8 AM – 5 PM) and rotating half‑day Saturdays give our doctors room to enjoy life outside of work, without sacrificing professional fulfillment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care including wellness, sick visits, and preventative medicine
  • Perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
  • Interpret diagnostics and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet parents and team members
  • Collaborate with our strong support team for efficient, high‑quality care
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AVMA accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program
  • Licensure in the state of Michigan or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
  • Proficiency in medical knowledge and externship experience in surgical procedures
  • Exemplary professionalism and communication skills with both team members and clients
  • Strong decision‑making and time‑management skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
