With over 25 years of experience, Monarch Tree Services, LLC is serving the arboreal cultural needs of Residential, Commercial, and Plant Health Care clients throughout West Michigan. With an experienced certified arborist on staff and a passionate team, we are here to cover all of your tree care needs, from tree removal, tree pruning, lot clearing, herbicide treatments, and plant health care treatment.

We are seeking a Foreman to join our busy team! The ideal candidate will be able to execute the assigned work or tasks by performing the following duties

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal
• Operate a bucket truck efficiently
• Climb trees efficiently
• Operate and maintain a variety of tools and machinery including pruning saws, chainsaws, and chippers
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
• Work from the ground using handsaws and pole saws
• Drive trucks, loaders, and operate other equipment as assigned, such as skid steers, chippers, stump grinders, bucket trucks, chip trucks, etc.
• Maintain trucks and equipment
• Keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion
• Report the need for repairs to truck and equipment to fleet management
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the working area, staying in frequent communication with team
• Adhere to all industry and company safety standards and policies, including the use of PPE at all times
• Help enforce job safety practices
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Perform related work as assigned

• Experience in tree trimming and pruning
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment and machinery
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
• CDL or ability to obtain one

• Certified Arborist
• CDL A License
