We are conducting a confidential search for a Quality Manager with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the paper, packaging, and wood products markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is located around Newberry, MI.
Key responsibilities- Manage and directs the daily activities of the Quality Department Studies, recommends for approval and implements Quality policies, procedures and required documentation
- Coordinate ISO 9001, maintains registration and executes all job responsibilities in accordance with ISO 9001
- Oversees the preparation of FMEA, control plans and instruction sheets
- Ensures staff is trained and knowledgeable in the areas of quality policies, procedures, safety, environmental standards and continuous improvement
- Issue debits for Vendors Quality concerns and issues through the Quality Dept. sign-off on customer’s debits and quality invoices
- Maintain and report out monthly to Executive Management on Quality Metrics
- Monitor external customer Quality Issues and Corrective Action
- 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering
- Experience in the manufacturing environment
- Mid‑Senior level
