Cashier​/Food Service Worker; Part Time

We are hiring immediately for a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position at Chartwells-Carsonville High School, located at 100 North Goetze Road, Carsonville, MI 48419. Note that only online applications are accepted.

Schedule:

Part-time schedule, 8:00 am - 1:30 pm, with varying days. Further details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements:
Food service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train. The pay range is $15.00 per hour to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Helps prepare foods and catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• Performs general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage.
• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashiers according to established procedures and makes deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
• Sets up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken and within acceptable ranges.
• Serves hot and cold items to customers.
• Stocks pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
