Create Exceptional Dining Experiences for Our Residents at Pomeroy Living!
Pomeroy Living, a premier senior independent living community, is seeking a dependable and customer service-oriented Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our residents by overseeing dining room setup, food presentation, and staff training.
Responsibilities:
- Dining Room Excellence:
- Oversee dining setup, kitchen cleanliness, food presentation, and closing procedures.
- Oversee the presentation of all food served from the kitchen to residents and guests, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Team Leadership:
- Train and supervise servers, participate in hiring, and manage daily staffing.
- Resident Satisfaction:
- Take meal orders, communicate with dietary staff, and address resident dining concerns.
- Meet with dietary staff daily to discuss daily specials, always-available menu options, and wine selections.
- Proactively address resident concerns and ensure their satisfaction with meal service.
- Minimum of two years of food management or food service supervision experience preferred.
- Experience in a senior independent living food service setting preferred.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
