Line CookJob Summary
Suser Restaurant Group Line Cooks take pride in every plate, ensuring every dish is picture‑perfect. They keep the line clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift, use the freshest products, and follow proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling, and sanitation practices. The ideal Line Cook has full‑service restaurant experience, understands the company’s costs, and follows recipe adherence.
Requirements/Qualifications- Able to follow written recipes and order tickets
- Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
