Job Overview

As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with ensuring the efficient operation of the culinary aspect of the restaurant, banquets, and activations with a focus on delivering unmatched moments for our guests.

Essential Job Functions
  • Running daily service, organizing prep work, managing workflow, coordinating with front‑of‑house curators, and maintaining equipment.
  • Supervising, and conflict resolution for cooks and dishwashers.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure curator compliance of all hotel standards and policies.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
  • Ensure an appropriate inventory of supplies needed for curators to effectively do their job.
  • Ensuing food quality standards are being met by monitoring food preparation, ensuring recipe adherence, and presentation continuity.
  • Addressing food‑related complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining food cost by managing inventory, monitoring portion size and minimizing waste.
  • Assisting with menu planning, recipe testing, and standardizing new dishes.
  • Fostering a productive environment and coordinating with other departments.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available for work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any job‑related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes.
  • At least 2 years high‑volume cooking experience.
  • Food safety knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills involved in culinary training.
  • Knowledge of the Back of House operations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lb frequently.
