, a Cardinal Senior Living community, we’re looking for a dependable, energetic Dietary Aide who enjoys working with food, serving people, and being part of a team.

This is a hands-on role that blends food preparation, meal service, and kitchen support
. You’ll help prepare meals, serve residents, keep the dining room and kitchen running smoothly, and make sure every meal feels welcoming and well cared for.

As a Dietary Aide, you’ll support the full dining experience from preparation through cleanup.

You’ll:

• Assist with food preparation according to recipes and culinary standards
• Help assemble meals and trays based on resident dietary needs
• Serve meals, beverages, and snacks to residents
• Assist residents during meal service when needed
• Set up and maintain dining and service areas
• Clear tables and transport dishes after meals
• Operate the dishwasher and wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean kitchen and dining surfaces
• Properly cover, label, date, and store food
• Restock preparation and service areas
• Transport food carts and nourishments throughout the community
• Assist with special events, catering, and holiday meals
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards
• Support the Executive Chef and culinary team wherever needed

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and willing to support the entire dining operation
.

You should be able to:

• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers
• Remain active and on your feet throughout the shift
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Bend, reach, stoop, and perform physical kitchen tasks
• Follow basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday

Previous experience in a restaurant, senior living community, healthcare setting, cafeteria, or commercial kitchen is preferred, but we’re willing to develop the right person.
