Emergency Sales Representative

Overview

Emergency Sales Representative role at Bonnie Plants, LLC.

• Call on customers or potential customers to make sales and obtain orders for Bonnie products.
• Negotiate with customers regarding sales, location, space, product mix, etc.
• Grow the route by increasing volumes and sell-through rates of company products.
• Prepare and display items to facilitate sales and maximize product presentation.
• Ensure safety processes and procedures are followed.
• Drive a company-owned box truck to and from customer stops and deliver products to and from retail locations.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT rules and regulations and coordinate activity with Transportation Compliance Officer.
• Attend all sales meetings and other required training.
• Willingness and ability to work schedules up to and including seven days per week during peak season.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region and across the country as needed.
• Merchandise products, rotate stock, and remove products as necessary.
• Tidy up shelves and displays.
• Assemble and disassemble racks and promotional materials such as signs and banners.
• Clean, maintain, and sanitize the interior of the company-assigned vehicle.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions; when absent, ensure work responsibilities are covered.
• Other duties outlined by the Station Manager, Area Sales Manager or Company.

• Minimum
  
  Education and Experience:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of customer service and/or route sales experience preferred. Experience driving a box truck or vehicle of similar size is required.
• Licenses and/or Certificates:
  Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Must meet Federal DOT eligibility requirements, including a valid driver’s license and medical certification. This position requires a review of driving history (clean driving record) and successful completion of a pre-employment road test based on Federal Motor Carrier requirements.

  Indoor and outdoor environments; exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

  Driving a company-owned truck to and from customer stops and lifting/carrying products into and out of retail locations.

  Activities:
  
  Standing for long periods, travel between locations, and lifting heavy products up to 40 pounds (occasionally 60 pounds). Ability to climb, push, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel; use equipment to unload products.
