Field Technician On Site - MI Union

Position Summary

A Field Technician at Mac Allister is an onsite Service Specialist who supports customers at their work location. The role performs maintenance and repair on customer fleet to keep equipment continually producing output to meet customer demands.

• Diagnose problems with equipment/engines.
• Perform all repairs associated with the diagnosis that is possible out in the field.
• Locate and order parts as required, coordinating with parts drivers to get the parts you need to your work site.
• Write up detailed service reports for both internal and external requirements.
• Maintain own equipment.
• Build productive customer relationships to benefit all involved.

• Proven track record of ability to perform and fix equipment/engines in a timely manner, to the quality and standard required.
• The ability to self‑motivate and self‑manage time.
• A record of promptness to get to and from work on time.
• Strong ability to communicate and listen, understanding customer needs and performing the work necessary.
• Strong writing skills to complete detailed service reports.
• A Current DOT Medical Card.
• A Current Class A CDL.
