Landscape Logic, a premier northern Michigan landscape company, is looking for a talented Hardscape Installer/Stone Mason to join our award winning and rapidly growing team.
This position serves a critical role in assisting the Project Managers with constructing all assigned projects.
Responsibilities:- Build paver and natural stone patios, retaining and sitting walls, fire pits and fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and grill islands.
- Decorative stone overlays - mud set/mortar joint patios, and walkways.
- Thin veneer stone installation.
- Demolition, excavation, trenching, grading, and drainage work.
- Proficient in stone and brick veneer, and mortared flatwork.
- Proficient in dry-stacked stone walls and edging.
- Able to operate a variety of heavy equipment.
- Proficient in using saws, grinders, and other relevant hand tools.
- Able to read construction drawings.
- Able to perform construction math and basic calculations.
- Knowledge and experience of residential masonry construction required.
- Detail oriented and quality work standards.
- Year round, full time, hourly (non exempt).
