We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has previous mechanical and/or electrical maintenance technician experience and wants to learn the scale industry. The ideal candidate will interact well with customers and be a team player.

Typical workdays include team meetings, planning for each customer visit, and using company trucks and tools to service, calibrate, and repair a customer's weighing equipment. We provide service to a broad range of industrial customers, working both indoors and outdoors on equipment with attention to detail. When you join our team as a Field Service Scale Technician, you start out by completing a hands‑on onboarding program focused on the fundamentals of the scale technician trade.

In addition to completing the necessary training requirements, you also take part in a mentorship program while first working in the field. When you successfully complete all requirements of your onboarding program, you will become a Certified Scale Technician. From there, you may advance into more senior technician levels. There are also opportunities to evolve into other areas of the business, such as IT systems and data networking, sales, or customer support.

• Successfully complete the scale technician onboarding program, which includes training and mentoring to learn fundamentals of the scale technician trade, professional expectations, scale products and mechanical/electrical components in the scale industry, and how to use company vehicles and specialized equipment and tools to service, calibrate, and repair a customer's weighing equipment.
• On‑the‑job skills to support our customers.
• Attend regular meetings with your manager and mentor to track learning progress.
• Maintain a clean and professional attitude and image.
• Complete and adhere to all assigned safety training.
• Obtain a Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL
  
  B).
• Pass a final exam to advance to a Certified Scale Technician (CST).

• Have or pursue a CDL Class B (preferred).
• Experience with mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Highly motivated to learn a new trade.
• Positive work ethic and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Team‑oriented and willing to adapt to change.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of basic computer‑related skills such as using the internet, mobile devices, and e‑mail software.
• High school diploma or GED.
