Field Service Technician

Location: Coleman

Culligan Total Water Treatment Systems Inc. is looking for a Field Service Technician in Coleman, MI to perform installation and service maintenance on household and commercial water treatment systems.

Responsibilities include:

* Installation of water treatment equipment to customer's homes.

* Work with water softeners, filtration, and reverse osmosis systems.

* Will learn to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

* Follow procedures/protocol for equipment installation and maintenance.

* Work with filters, pumps, motors, piping and other mechanical systems.

* Collect water samples and perform tests on water treatment systems.

* Perform routine maintenance, filter changes, sanitizations and equipment exchanges.

* Maintain accurate service and installation records.

Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalency.

* 1 to 3 years' experience as a technician working with installation, set up and maintenance.

* Experience with plumbing, water softeners and reverse osmosis systems helpful.

* A minimum of 3 years customer service experience required.

* Working knowledge of plumbing codes helpful.

* Understanding of water chemistry helpful.

* Demonstrated problem solving skills.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Experience and ability to work independently without supervision.

* Valid driver's license and good driving record.

* Experience driving a service vehicle helpful.

* Ability to read a map.
