• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
• Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards
• Safely work at different heights, from underground to in the air
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks
• Document work performed through daily production reports, marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records
• Other duties as assigned

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license (provisional licenses not accepted) with an acceptable driving record
• Pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Six months of copper splicing experience or one year in the telecommunications industry

• Certified pole climber or ability to demonstrate pole‑climber proficiency is preferred

• Routinely: operate vehicle and heavy machinery; perform fine hand motions; work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level; bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs; lift >55 lb
• Occasionally: work in confined spaces; use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

$35.00 – $45.00 per hour
