We're currently seeking an experienced Semi‑Trailer Technician / Mechanic to join our Byron Center service team. If you're a skilled technician who enjoys solving problems, working with modern equipment, and being part of a company that respects your expertise, we'd like to meet you.

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience, certifications, and skill level)

• Monthly proficiency bonus
• 3% pay increase per State Certification obtained.
• Tool reimbursement or tool allowance
• Boot allowance

• Diagnose and repair trailer mechanical, electrical, suspension, brake, and structural issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Conduct welding, fabrication, and trailer body repairs.
• Repair or replace damaged trailer components
• Perform DOT inspections and safety checks.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Complete repair documentation accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, audiogram, and lift test
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
• Must provide own hand tools
• Strong attendance, work ethic, and time‑management skills
• Ability to obtain a State Certification

• 2–5 years of semi‑trailer, heavy‑duty equipment, or diesel repair experience
• Welding and fabrication experience
• DOT inspection experience
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented approach
