With the strength of the Rakuten Point market, which has surpassed 2 trillion yen in total issuance, we are building the "Rakuten Economic Circle" through service collaboration with Rakuten Group companies and the introduction of cashless settlement services in real stores, which are growing at an accelerated pace. Our settlement services can be used at approximately 5 million online and offline locations, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and shopping malls nationwide, as well as at approximately 1 million locations where traffic‑related e‑money can be used, and the number of locations where this service can be used is continuing to expand.

E‑money System Division handles everything, Rakuten Edy and Rakuten Cash, from system service planning related to payment services, planning and implementation related to UI/UX, basic and detailed system design, coding, testing, and operation.

As our business grows, the scope of Rakuten Cash’s service operations is expanding, and we are looking for colleagues to join us in operating the service. By taking charge of the operation of services that handle a large amount of traffic, such as Rakuten Pay, the payment infrastructure used by Rakuten Group companies, and external collaborations, you will gain knowledge of the world’s infrastructure and cultivate rare operational skills through activities to ensure the stable operation of services.

• Management of service operation business
• Arrange, negotiate each operation task from internal/external (incl. resource management)
• Promote activities for troubleshooting and improvement activities
• Improve service operation tasks
• Make a plan and promote and manage improvements for service availability and mandatory task for service continuity
• Discover issues, including not only tangible but also potential, on our services and improvement activities

Among the employees in the Operation Maintenance Group, there are mid‑careers, young graduates in 2023, and there are also foreign nationals. Other members come from a variety of backgrounds, including outsourcing, partner staff, and contract employees, and are able to work in an environment where they can utilize their strengths and have their own career plans.
