Senior MEAN Stack Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a premier software, research, and consulting firm specializing in industrial-organizational psychology. This role is part of the IT Services department and will focus on the development, maintenance, and testing of microservices built on the MEAN stack.

• Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high-quality software solutions.
• Solve complex technical challenges and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Develop software components, specifications, and design documentation.
• Maintain and manage corporate software libraries.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application design and usage.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to peers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• 5-7 years of experience designing and developing web-based solutions.
• Strong experience with the MEAN stack (Mongo
  
  DB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• Proficiency in developing RESTful web services.
• Preferred experience with microservice-based architecture and building secure systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
