Position:
Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach

• Operate the girls basketball program within the philosophy of the school, athletic department and MHSAA.
• Responsible for the development of the varsity program and the feeder programs.
• Have detailed 1, 3 and 5 year plan for the program.
• Demonstrate good communication skills with players, parents, administration, media, and student body.
• Have thorough, well organized practice plans.
• Responsible for all squad members from reporting time until departure from school grounds.
• Be involved with all Marcellus Athletics and sports teams and boosters.
• Follow all guidelines and policies set forth by the school.

Athletic Director and the High School Principal

• High school diploma
• The preferred candidate has varsity coaching experience.
• The preferred candidate will have strong character and have the ability to build relationships with players and parents.
• The preferred candidate will be able to collaborate with other sports and coaches.
• The preferred candidate will be available to start immediately following Board approval.
• The preferred candidate must have a willingness to develop a successful high school program and feeder system.
