JV Softball Coach – Centreville Public Schools

Athletic Director

• Exhibit high moral and ethical conduct and display a positive value system as a role model for student‑athletes.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of the sport to be coached.
• Display good judgment in dealing with parents, team, administration, public, and media.
• Develop a program that aligns with the athletic department vision of developing the student‑athlete as a whole.
• Communicate and work effectively with coaches, staff, district administration, and the community.
• Fulfill CPS and MSHAA requirements upon hire.

• A valid Michigan Teacher’s Certificate.
• Prior experience as a coach.
• Experience with an educational institution.

The coach shall report directly to the Athletic Director for the administration, supervision, and evaluation of matters pertaining to the assigned areas of responsibility. The coach is responsible for the organization, coordination, and interpretation of the sport.
