Job Description & How to Apply Below
Nimbly is a modern transportation and technology company headquartered in California.
- What we do: We move people—safely, efficiently, and with a service mindset—via our ground-transport division (formerly Airline Coach Service) and our dispatch software platform, Insta Route .
- Who we serve: Leading airlines, enterprise shuttle programs, and livery operators that demand on-time performance and flawless rider experiences.
- How we work: We pair operational know-how (drivers, dispatchers, mechanics) with real-time data, AI-assisted routing, and an always-learning culture. Our teams solve problems before customers feel them.
- Why join us: You’ll help reshape passenger transportation, work with a lean team that values autonomy, and see your ideas move from concept to road faster than at a big-box operator.
Our values: Safety first
• Do the right thing (especially when it’s hard)
• Think like an owner
• Keep improving
• Communicate with empathy.
You’ll join our SFO ground transport team —a tight-knit group that ensures airline crew move quickly and comfortably between John Wayne Airport, hotels, and operations centers.
Reporting to our Operations Supervisor , you’ll be trusted to deliver a smooth, safe ride every shift.
- Drive a scheduled airport shuttle route , transporting airline pilots and flight attendants between SFO, nearby hotels, and terminals.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections , logging any issues to keep our fleet running safely.
- Assist with luggage , loading bags up to ~50 lbs and ensuring passengers board comfortably.
- Stay in constant radio / PTT contact with dispatch for flight delays or gate changes.
- Complete all required mileage, timesheet, and logs on time.
- Experience: 2+ years of commercial driving (shuttle, paratransit, delivery, or similar).
- Attributes: Dependable, safety-focused, positive attitude with passengers.
- Valid CA Class C license with a clean driving record; able to pass a drug/alcohol test, and background if needed.
- Willing to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays on a flexible.
- Bonus points for prior airport / airline crew driving or Class B (P) endorsement.
- Making a direct impact on airline operations —your punctual service keeps flights on schedule.
- A supervisor who values doing the job right, not just rushing to the next stop.
- Paid training, uniform & safety shoe allowance, and opportunities to grow with Nimbly as we expand across California airports.
