Position: Civil Project Manager (freelance)

Key Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day management of the project, coordinating internal teams and external contractors.

Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, permitting, and HSE standards.

Liaise with stakeholders including municipal authorities, subcontractors, and technical partners.

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Deliver clear progress reports to senior management and project sponsors.

Requirements

7+ years’ experience managing large energy or infrastructure projects (geothermal, oil & gas drilling, or renewables strongly preferred).

Strong track record in freelance or interim project management roles.

Knowledge of Dutch energy regulations and permitting processes.

Excellent stakeholder management and contractor coordination skills.

Engineering, geoscience, or energy‑related degree preferred.

Based in the Netherlands;
Dutch language skills highly desirable.
