Job Summary:
Al Packer’s White Marsh Ford, LLC is a well-established and respected automotive dealership. We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our growing dealership team. This role supports the accounting department with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership and manufacturer requirements.
- Process daily accounting transactions including deposits, receipts, and disbursements
- Post deals, reconcile schedules, and verify funding
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support the accounting manager with audits and reports
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and internal controls
- Previous automotive accounting experience required
- Knowledge of dealership accounting processes
- Experience with CDK dealership management system
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information
