We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team and provide high-quality services to individuals, couples, and families. The LCPC will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based counseling interventions to support clients in managing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, and fostering a safe, supportive environment that promotes personal growth and resilience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, cultural competence, and a commitment to ethical practice while empowering clients to achieve their goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy, offering psychosocial support and education.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, problem-solving, and art therapy.
- Conduct client activation, assessment, diagnosis, advocacy, and delivery of counseling services in clinical and telehealth settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, client-centered care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Complete special projects assigned by Clinical Director and/or CEO.
- Master’s degree in counseling or a related field. Full licensure through the Maryland Department of Health Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as an LCPC, meeting all board requirements and able to practice independently.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostics, care coordination, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and plan of care development.
- Experience with art therapy, evidence-based interventions, and short-term skills development.
- Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience with mental health and substance use disorders, including comprehensive clinical assessments.
