Description:We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee patient care plans, administer medications, and provide high-quality nursing care. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs through detailed evaluations and prepare care plans accordingly.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments and ensure proper documentation of each.
- Monitor patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Conduct physical examinations, interpret lab results, and provide updates on patient status to physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and health maintenance.
- Provide guidance to CNAs and other healthcare assistants to ensure patient care is delivered appropriately.
- Document and maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Valid RN license in Maryland.
- Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in home healthcare is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
