Lead Field Service Technician

Qualus is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to power our Specialized Field Service department. As a leader in both shop and field environments, you will spearhead critical operations, ensuring the reliability and functionality of essential electrical systems.

• Perform testing on low and medium voltage breakers (Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, Timing tests).
• Complete mechanical work and repairs on breakers (tear down, refurbishment, parts replacement).
• Utilize and accurately read meters.
• Read schematics and wiring drawings.
• Troubleshoot circuit controls.
• Read and plot time-current curves.
• Read and understand electrical one-line drawings and symbols.
• Test power and current transformers (Power Factor, TTR).
• Accurately document using Power DB.
• Work with electrical testing equipment and tools.

• 5-7 years in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution, and related protection/control schemes.
• Minimum 2 years industrial or commercial power systems experience.
• NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Effective communication in English (reading, writing).
• Field work indoors and outdoors.
• Strong interpersonal, business acumen, job management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power
  
  DB, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Compensation range is based on education, qualifications, experience, and location.
