Location:

South Walpole, MA – $21.00-$23.00 per hour. The position offers full‑time and part‑time shifts.

The Child Care Teacher will plan and implement a program of activities that ensures each child’s personal safety while providing enrichment, physical challenges, and learning experiences. The teacher will uphold the employee code of conduct and align all duties with the Old Colony Y mission and regulatory standards, demonstrating caring, responsibility, honesty, and respect.

• Plan and lead daily activities throughout the day.
• Ensure each child’s safety and promote enrichment and learning.
• Uphold the employee code of conduct and mission of Old Colony YMCA.
• Display and encourage character traits of caring, responsibility, honesty, and respect.

• Minimum of 21 years of age or a high school diploma or equivalent, meeting EEC requirements for education and experience for a Teacher.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.
• EEC Teacher Certification.
