Position: Inventory Control Associate (MON-FRI)

About

The Role

Inventory Control Associate will perform counts and recounts, verify inventories, and report discrepancies. Maintain the physical order and accuracy of company inventory.

Schedule

Monday - Friday (4:00 AM – 12:30 PM), Full-Time, Non-Exempt

What You Will Do
  • Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform the primary role (stock-chaser).
  • Perform and complete daily safety inspections checklist for all equipment used.
  • Effectively utilize/operate and navigate data collection equipment (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.).
  • Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user-created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
  • Provide assistance to all other functions within the department (Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking).
  • Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements (CPH – count per hour).
What We're Looking For
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices
  • Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic math skills and ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately
  • Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
  • Must be flexible with start and departure times
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned
Physical Demands

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. The position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near/far/color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

Working Environment
  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with conditions ranging from warm to cool.
  • Exposure to warehouse machines and equipment and moderate noise levels.
  • Must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and interact with employees at all levels.
