The Manager of Continuous Improvement will work directly with plant and non‑plant managers and respective staff to focus on improving current process efficiency, material flow, labour productivity, quality, safety and environmental impact. The position is responsible for contributing knowledge, performing analysis, developing solutions, justifying investment, managing and implementation of projects, integrating systems with processes, providing training, and measuring results. The Manager of Continuous Improvement reports to the Director of Operations.

• Lead CPG's Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) implementation and management across the business in alignment with tk corporate sustainability requirements.
• Utilize improvement and analysis methods, such as strategic planning, operations research, Value Stream Mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, facility and work cell design, IT systems integration, performance measurement, benchmarking, financial analysis, and cost justification.
• Conduct and facilitate workouts with plant personnel to understand current processes and challenges, to encourage input and jointly develop solution options, to provide training, and manage change. Support the quality team in problem solving and improvement.
• Develop and improve work instructions and procedures for all CPG processes in accordance with quality management system best practices.
• Measure and monitor performance across multiple facilities on a continuous basis to identify improvement opportunities, to maintain process control, and ensure that improvement benefits are realised.
• Ensure operational performance is communicated to the shop floor employees.
• Lead CPG 6S+ annual audits and use the platform to provide feedback and action items to help the sites continuously improve.
• Work with each site to implement improvements to their maintenance programmes with the goal of implementing a Total Productive Maintenance mindset at each site.
