REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPISTRespiratory Care Services provides care for patients throughout the hospital that require respiratory support, blood gases, respiratory treatments, and all types of oxygen administration to intubation and ventilator management. Patient acuity varies greatly, and they do welcome new therapists.
HOURS POSITION SUMMARYThe Registered Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory in all settings within the Health Center. This includes aerosol therapy, airway clearance, and blood gas analysis, Endotracheal intubation, and ventilator management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EducationHigh school diploma and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with a major in respiratory care.
Required length of experienceClinical experience during respiratory care training. New grads welcome to apply.
Required licensure, certification, and/or registryCredentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License issued by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
