Maintenance Manager

thyssenkrupp Steel Services Division: A division of thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc., supplying flat rolled, hot rolled, and hot‑dipped carbon steel products to the U.S. market. We support customers in various manufacturing sectors from our service centers in Richburg, South Carolina;
Woodstock, Alabama;
Sinton, Texas; and Detroit, Michigan.

This position is responsible for maintaining all processing, packaging, material handling equipment, and building support. Additional responsibilities include tooling, equipment enhancements, spare parts inventory, and preventive maintenance. The role works on the warehouse and around heavy machinery.

• Maintain all processing, packaging and material handling equipment to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Implement and document a preventive maintenance program.
• Inventory necessary spare parts.
• Assist with specific tasks assigned by the Plant Manager.
• Maintain adequate tool levels at each machine for efficient operation.
• Respond to operator requests for equipment enhancements.
• Support other Ken‑Mac locations with equipment repairs or enhancements.
• Contribute to decisions on new or additional property, plant, and equipment.
• Manage cleaning personnel to keep the workplace safe and equipment areas unobstructed.
• Assist in developing and maintaining capital budgets.
• Help improve productivity, product quality, and reduce scrap levels.
• Participate in the plant safety program.

• High School Diploma plus technical classes in blueprint reading, electric drive systems, and hydraulic systems.
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing of slitters or cut‑to‑length lines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
