Job Details- Position: Tax Preparer Assistant - Franchise Location
- Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
- Type: Full-time

- Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
- Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
- Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reading and math skills required to conduct the tax interview.
- Effective communication skills in person and on the phone.
- Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
- Additional state and local requirements may apply.
- Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance.
